RCA composite input troubleshooting

Post by mbudget-milk »

hi, i recently bought a Century from 2009 and its been great! the model i got has a DVD player in the back which works fine. Underneath is a Composite RCA input, i thought it be cool to hook up a google tv there or to use the audio inputs with a Bluetooth adapter.

however no mater what i do, it doesn't seam to work. i connected my google tv with a HDMI to Composite adapter, but the screen just stays blank.

i also tried a Bluetooth audio receiver only using the audio inputs but that doesn't work either. i also noticed that there are wires sticking out the tv and center console, apparently that's from a telephone that has bean removed.

maybe its using the RCA input to connect the phone to the speakers which blocks the RCA input? to check that id haft to remove the center console (i think) but i don't really have any experience doing stuff like that, so before i jump down that rabbit hole, i thought id ask if there's something i missed that could hinder the RCA input from working.

the composite adapter can output both NTSC and PAL, tried both, didn't work.
